Sounds like something is missing in your life and most likely it's not possessions. The little that you have is of great value, don't get me wrong. But overwhelming fear of loss usually is about other deeper things. Examine yourself, deal with your other fears, have faith in yourself, don't be afraid to ask for help, and let other people in. It's worth a try, right? |

Nightmares usually happen when, for some reason, the repression barrier in our minds don´t work on that ocassion, and let the anguishing content of a dream pass through to conscience. Maybe you went to bed that night stressed or worried about something in particular, feeling lonely, etc, which made your mind try to deal with that feeling or situation in its own way. What we dream at night doesn´t usually come true, but anyway, living in fear doesn´t solve the problem. It just gives burglars an easy win. They have already won if they can make people live in fear. If you have your life, your family and some friends, you´re a rich man. That´s your real treasure. |

Plenty of people live with this fear on a daily basis. All they can afford is in neighborhoods they don't want to live in but have no choice. I feel for you. Do you know your neighbors well? Talk to some of them. I'll bet they express the same feelings. Maybe they can help ease your fears. Do you work? Maybe you could get a second job to get a better place to live. What about a roommate to share expenses at a better place? |

Maybe you can get an alarm system put in also having a dog is good for protection. Nightmares can be very scary but you have to remember that it was just that, a nightmare, probably from all the worrying you are doing. Sometimes people are looking for roommates to share expenses. Look in your local newspaper for listings. You will be able to get a better place and have company too. |
